What kind of creatives make up the atlica community?

Our Marketplace currently host designers and factories from the following communities

  • Apparel (Women’s / Men’s)
  • Bag (Women’s / Men’s)
  • Footwear (Women’s / Men’s)

Our goal is to vet and add additional categories to allow users to connect, network and hire creatives widening the possibilities of what you can create.

How are designers and factories on Atlica selected?

We receive applications from designers and factories worldwide. We review portfolios and put them through our unique vetting process. This is to ensure that designers and factories are not only skillfully adept but also capable of providing realistic guidance on the product creating process.

Are my ideas protected?

All ideas and assets shared within the Atlica platform are protected as stated within our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. No designer or Factory can share or publish your ideas without your consent. We have included a feature in our chat that allows you to see which files you send and which files you receive (This provides a record for your protection).

If you find out plagiarism, please contact us immediately.

How do I hire a designer or factory?

As of now the platform does not handle payments. What we advise is when dealing with factories or designers for a user to use Paypal to send payments (because of the protections you recieve) in tandem with our chat system that has a file system that allows to keep track of all the assets you receive and send.

On our platform you can freely browse our community and view profiles. You can alos narrow down your search with filters such as industries, locations, hourly rate for designers and MOQ (minimum order quantity) for factories.

Just chat with any of your selected designers or factories.

What is the process When I hire a Factory?

Every factory project is divided into two stages. Prototype and Production. The prototype stage is to develop physical samples to test functionality and aesthetics. The Production stage is to make the commitment for mass production in your desired quantity based on the confirmed prototype.

We always recommend you to undergo the Prototype stage first before going into Production to avoid issues, since production is a big commitment in both time and money.

Prototype samples can be reviewed as photos via chat where they are then shipped to you for further review. Production must be shipped to your desired location. Once you receive all the samples and are satisfied, make sure to inform your factory in a timely manner so you can quickly proceed to the next stage of your project.

What does MOQ mean?

MOQ stands for Minimum Order Quantity and the term is used for factories to set the lowest quantity they will manufacture. For example, you must order 100 or more units of one style to manufacture products in a factory with an MOQ of 100. Some factories have low MOQ which is ideal for small test runs or startups. Some factories have high MOQ for big retailers or businesses.
